Westchester

Westchester is a neighborhood in the Westside region of Los Angeles, California. It is bordered by Playa Vista to the north, West Los Angeles to the east, Rancho Park to the south, and the city of Culver City to the west. It is known for its proximity to LAX, as well as for its diverse array of housing options, including single-family homes, apartments, and townhouses. Westchester is also home to a number of schools, parks, and shopping centers. The area was first developed in the 1930s as an aviation hub and was home to the manufacturing facilities of Douglas Aircraft Company.
